Here is the press release that’s right DirecTV to offer ESPN 3D at no additional cost. This is huge, and may set a prescient that would make it so you don’t have to pay extra to get 3D channels like we have to with HD.

Fifa has announced that up to 25 3D World Cup matches. We know as of now that the first game between South Africa and Mexico will be in 3D, but we do not know which other games will be filmed in 3D.

ESPN has announced their intention to launch the first 3D channel. This is very exciting news and we will be following it and tracking which games will be broadcast in 3D. Below is the press release they sent out earlier today.
