Here is the press release that’s right DirecTV to offer ESPN 3D at no additional cost. This is huge, and may set a prescient that would make it so you don’t have to pay extra to get 3D channels like we have to with HD.

Below is the list of theaters showing the Final Four 3D. With Butler, Michigan State, Duke and West Virginia all playing in the final four we find it interesting that West Virginia does not have a theater that will be showing the games in 3D as of right now. Michigan State appears to have the most 3D theaters showing the games in their area, followed by North Carolina then Butler with only one.

ESPN has just sent out a press release saying they are going to be adding more games to the 3D schedule. They include the ACC championship in college football; the Big East Tournament, Jimmy V Classic and Old Spice classic in Basketball and the home run derby in baseball. My guess is that [...]

As of right now ESPN appears to be the only station that is doing anything about the move to 3D. With ESPN 3D announced, and up to 85 games planned for this season, it appears they are doing a very good job with it. And to add to that they have designated ESPN wide world [...]
