Just got a press release from ESPN that ESPN 3D will be on Comcast in time for the start of the World Cup. It looks like the content will be available through their VOD service as well, which is interesting considering it will be live sports Content.

The New York Yankees are going to be the first baseball team to broadcast a game in 3D through their partners at YES on DirecTV. The two games that will be shown are going to be against the Seattle Mariners in Safeco Field in mid July the Yes 3D dates and times are below.

The Masters is going to be sent out in 3D, but only if you subscribe to Comcast’s Xfininity, and you are are on the HD tier. The Masters 3D schedule includes the par 3 contest as well as two hours of coverage through each of the rounds of the tournament
